Terms of Service
Please read these before using Linkr.
Effective date: March 24, 2026
1. Agreement
By using Linkr you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. Linkr is a product operated by an individual. There is no registered company entity behind it.
2. What Linkr is
Linkr lets you create redirect short links, upload PDFs and images, publish code snippets, and generate QR codes — with analytics built in. Additional link types and formats may be added over time. Your links are served from linksh.re or your own custom domain if you've connected one.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
- You must provide accurate account information.
4. Acceptable use
- You may use Linkr for any lawful purpose. You may not use it to:
- Share, link to, or distribute illegal content.
- Spread malware, run phishing pages, or send spam.
- Scrape, overload, or otherwise abuse the service.
- Impersonate other people or organisations.
- We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules without notice.
5. Content you create
You own your content. By using Linkr you give us a limited license to store and serve it on your behalf. We don't sell or share your content with third parties. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to anything you upload or link to.
6. Plans and billing
- Payments are handled by Polar.sh. By subscribing to a paid plan you agree to Polar's terms in addition to ours.
- We never see or store your payment details. Plan limits are described on the pricing page.
- We may update plan pricing from time to time if the cost of operating the service changes, including infrastructure, storage, bandwidth, or third-party service costs, or if the service itself changes materially. We do not change pricing arbitrarily.
- If pricing changes for an existing paid subscription, we will provide advance notice before the new price takes effect. If you do not agree to the change, you may cancel before your next billing cycle.
7. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Monthly plans are non-refundable, but cancelling stops future charges immediately. Annual plans are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase — contact us to request one. After that window, annual plans are non-refundable but stay active until the end of the billing period.
8. Termination
We can suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms or abuse, with or without notice. You can delete your account at any time from settings.
9. Uptime and reliability
We work hard to keep Linkr available, but we don't guarantee uptime or data preservation. The service is provided as-is. We're not responsible for data loss, downtime, or any business impact caused by service interruptions.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Linkr is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the site.
12. Governing law
Any disputes relating to these terms or your use of the service will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
